Apfelkiachl (apple fritters)
Serves 3-4
1/2 kg flour
a little milk
a little sugar
1 sachet of baking powder
5 eggs
5 apples
a little cinnamon
Oil for frying
Mix 1/2 kg of flour with a little milk. Then add a little sugar and the baking powder and mix well with an egg whisk. Next add 5 eggs. In so doing ensure that the mixture remains viscous. Peel the apples, cut into slices and toss in sugar and cinnamon. Leave to infuse for 10 minutes. Then heat a little oil in a frying pan or a deep saucepan, roll the apples in the dough, place in the fat and bake until golden yellow.
