What services are included in the Südtirol Guest Pass?
With the Südtirol Guest Pass, you can use many forms of public transport without needing an additional ticket. Helping you to reach hiking areas, day-trip destinations and towns easily and flexibly.

Where can I find a gas station?

Where are the e‑charging stations in the Ultental valley?
There are several charging stations in the Ultental valley, mainly in the villages.

Are there paid parking spaces in the valley?
There is only one paid parking lot in the Ultental valley: the one at the Weissbrunnsee lake. All other parking lots in the valley are free.
Hiking with a dog?
Dogs are allowed on all hiking trails. However, in higher alpine areas, they should be kept on a leash out of respect for the many animals and wild species – such as marmots, chamois, or ibex – that you may encounter during a high-mountain hike in Merano and the surrounding region.
Local Tax: when it was introduced and for what it will be used?
In 2014 a local tax was introduced in South Tyrol. The revenue from this tax will be used for the expansion and maintenance of local infrastructure and services, as well as for the organization of various cultural and sports events.
The local tax will be levied at all lodging establishments, on a per-guest and per-overnight-stay basis. The amount is contingent upon the category of the establishment. Children and adolescents under 14 years of age are exempt from levy.
The local tax is payable upon departure and is listed separately on the invoice.
