The Val d’Ultimo/Ultental Valley offers families untouched nature and traditional mountain villages. Mild temperatures and ideal hiking trails invite families to be active in the fresh air.
Themed trails along the valley make for memorable hiking adventures with children, and local farm traditions can be discovered up close. Leni, the little sheep mascot, hikes alongside children and sends them off to a digital scavenger hunt, known as Geocaching.
Beautifully equipped and modern playgrounds in the villages, the Kinderwelt Schwemmalm play area and the forest create a unique platform for playing in nature. Natural monuments such as the 2000 year-old ancient larch trees (Ultner Urlärchen) located in the village Santa Geltrude/St. Gertraud, as well as numerous other destinations await the visitors during a family vacation in the Ultental Valley.
