St. Pankraz Climbing Hall in the Ultental Valley

Thrilling climbing for enthusiasts, families with kids

Attempt the 14 m vertical climb, or one of 50 alternatives: both for climbing pros, as well as families.

In summer 2021, the much-anticipated indoor climbing facility in the Ultental Valley was newly inaugurated in the St. Pankraz/S. Pancrazio sports area. The 14 m-high climbing hall offers facilities for professionals, as well as families with children, with numerous climbing routes and plenty of extra features.

Named “Sticklä”, which means “extremely steep” in the Ultental Valley German dialect, the name aptly describes the 14 m high vertical climbing wall. “Sticklä” offers two self-securing systems and over 50 variable climbs. Bouldering enthusiasts can test themselves at varying levels, in the designated zone.

The new St. Pankraz climbing hall enables ardent climbers to keep training, and stay in shape under all conditions. It makes an ideal alternative to outdoor climbing on one of the rare rainy days during the usually hot South Tyrolean summers.

Great news for climbing enthusiasts and those interested in trying out this sport: your UltentalCard already entitles you to enter the “Sticklä” climbing hall in St. Pankraz! It’s for free!
