The Real Quality in the Mountains label is awarded to certain inns, refuges and mountain huts, which have been able to maintain a sufficiently high level of quality, authenticity and service. The label prescribes the utilization of fresh ingredients of local origin, setting a high level of quality for the dishes served. All dishes must be prepared in-house from scratch and a short menu is prescribed.
The quality of the service and overall presentation are also part of the criteria.
The establishment to have been awarded the Real Quality in the Mountains label in Parcines/Partschins is the Hochganghaus refuge in the Texelgruppe Nature Park. At this mountain refuge, patrons have a choice of hearty South Tyrolean platters including local speck, local mountain cheeses and homemade bread as well as traditional Tyrolean fare.
