Visitors and locals alike should be able to enjoy the many possibilities that stem from the Alpine landscape, the three different elevations and the
special microclimate around the waterfall, and derive specific added benefits for their health.
As part of an extensive study by the
Technical University of Munich (TUM) under the direction of
Prof. Dr. Reinhard Niessner, the water and air quality at the Parcines Waterfall was examined:
the water is clean and germ-free and the air quality is excellent. The results were processed in a medical-climatological report by the
Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU) under the direction of
Prof. Dr. Dr. Angela Schuh, which certifies that Partschins and the waterfall have great potential for health promotion and prevention.
As a result, the "Luftkurort Partschinser Wasserfall" (waterfall climatic health resort) was certified.
Based on the 4 pillars:
nature, movement, awareness and nutrition, the
holistic concept "Gsund bleibm! Salute! Take care!" is aimed at all those who want to take care of their health, preventively optimise their lifestyle and do something good for themselves.
With its
natural resources, an imposing waterfall with a curative climate and the variety of possibilities for people
seeking activity and recreation, Partschins has set up a pioneering project that not only makes
health promotion and prevention of disease possible, but also brings demonstrable benefits for our physical and mental wellbeing.
In addition to the
activities offered, it is also possible to undergo a
medical check-up that provides information on one’s personal state of health. Alongside a medical history, laboratory diagnostics and function tests, the health check, which is available either as a basic or premium package, also includes the creation of an
individual hiking and training programme, with a well-crafted blend of nature, exercise and relaxation.
