On Monday, there will be a mixture of sunny spells and cloud, but it will become overcast from the west during the afternoon. Tuesday will be cloudy to very cloudy, with only occasional sunny breaks. Wednesday will bring sunny spells and thin high cloud. Thick cloud will persist on Thursday, with rain spreading in from the south.

Moist air masses will determine the weather in South Tyrol.
Visibility in the mountains will generally be very poor due to cloud and fog. Light snow is possible at times, especially across the eastern mountain ranges. The brightest conditions will be in the upper Vinschgau valley. Temperatures will fall.

A westerly flow aloft will bring somewhat drier air to the Alps.
Lingering cloud and fog will often reduce visibility at first. As the day goes on, sunshine will generally break through.
