The Peilstein Mountain is an easily climbable summit above S. Valburga/St. Walburg with a fantastic panoramic view of the Ultental Valley.
From Gigglhirn we follow the markings No. 10 first on a forest road and then on the hiking trail to Schweinsteig and on to Marschnell. From there we follow the markings northeast to the summit. The new summit cross (2019) is slightly below.
Shortly before the centre of S. Valburga/St. Walburg turn right to Gigglhirn.
