Directions: Proceed from Plan towards the Schneidalm mountain hut and then turn right into a trough (depression). Ascend the numerous hairpin bends and then turn left through another trough leading towards Zwickauer mountain Hut (at 2,982 m). Follow the route across a sliver of the glacier, past Plan and up to a steep slope before finally reaching the summit ridge.
Descent: Same as ascent

From Meran/Merano to the Passeiertal Valley in direction of Timmelsjoch Mountain Pass until Pfelders/Plan.
Parking is available in the large car park (subject to charge) at the beginning of the village of Pfelders/Plan.
