2 cooked dumplings (Knödel)
Salt
Oil for frying
Preparation
Slice the cooked dumplings into thin rounds.
Heat the oil in a pot and fry the slices until golden and crisp.
Drain on paper towels and sprinkle lightly with salt.

TIP: Best results with speck dumplings, cheese dumplings or plain boiled ones like “Fastenknödel”.
