Cultural walk following the footsteps of the history of Rablà and Tel

The secular witnesses of the Via Claudia Augusta, the importance of the two hamlets of Parcines Tel and Rablà during Roman times and many other historical, cultural and artistic facts will be revealed to you during this interesting guided tour.

Approach

By bus:
From Parcines / from Merano: bus to Tel (stop "Schleuse" - hydroelectric power plant) - cross the highway at the intersection to reach the meeting point (there is a pedestrian crossing about 50 m away towards Val Venosta)
From Rablà/Val Venosta: bus to Tel (stop "paese" - near Hotel Botango) - follow the highway towards Merano to the hydroelectric power plant (~5 min)

By train:
train to Tel station - follow Via Stazione towards Merano - cross the bridge - follow the bike path towards Merano to the Tel hydroelectric power plant (~15 minutes walk)

To bring along

Ticket or money for the train trip from Tel to Rablà, comfortable clothing suitable for the temperatures, preferably rain protection.

Together with Claudia Gilli, a certified tour guide, you will walk through the historic districts of Rablà and Tel. During the stroll through the villages of Parcines, you will learn interesting and exciting historical facts about the village and its residents. Claudia has a story to tell at every step and will share her vast knowledge with you.
Short train ride from Tel to Rablà - dogs are welcome at the event! However, please make sure they wear a muzzle and have their own ticket.
The tour ends in Rablà - you do not return to the starting point!
