To the oldest high alpine pasture in the Tyrolean region - Moar Alm

Note: currently, the tour is only offered in German and Italian.
Enjoy the marvellous, unique view from the oldest high alpine pasture in Tyrol over the Untervinschgau valley and the entrance to the Schnalstal valley. The starting point of the hike is above Katharinaberg at the Schroflhof car park (1,708 m above sea level). From here, follow path no. No. 9 in the direction of Moar Alm. After a leisurely two-hour ascent, you have now conquered around 400 metres in altitude and reached the Moar Alm. After a well-earned break, the route continues via the Hühnerspielhof towards Katharinaberg.

Additional information: moderately difficult hike; walking time: approx. 5 hours; 470 m ascent and 870 m descent; good basic physical condition, sure-footedness and good footwear required, max. 15 participants
Approach
Individually by car to the Schrofl car park or take the interurban line no. 261 ‘Naturns-Schnalstal’ to the tourist office or the Katharinaberg bus stop.
Tip: Shuttle Schrofl
To bring along
enough to drink (no refreshment stops), sun and rain protection, good footwear
