Schnals/Senales – Daksys Outdoor Experience Day with the nature park rangers

Experience the nature park following in Ötzi's steps. Together with nature park rangers, we will set off from the meeting point in Vernagt / Vernago and head for Val Tisa / Tisental in the nature park. Ötzi, the famous ice man, probably roamed this valley too. During this activity, we will look for traces of the passage or presence of animals in the forest and mountain areas and try to observe them with binoculars. We will also identify mountain flowers, plants and trees and consider what this area and life in it might have looked like around 5,000 years ago. The fun and exciting search for answers can begin!
The “Be a ranger for a day” event is aimed at children aged between 6 and 12 and lasts from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. approximately.

Equipment for the day:
Weather-appropriate clothing (sun and rain protection)
Light, long-sleeved clothing and long trousers (even in hot weather)
Sturdy shoes
Snack
