50 Years of the Texel Group Nature Park – from Katharinaberg to Unterstell

Note: currently, the tour is only offered in German and Italian

Together with our hiking guide Richard, you will hike from the picturesque mountain village of Monte Santa Caterina along a section of the Merano High Mountain Trail to the sunny slope of Naturns. Hiking guide Richard will share insights into the history and development of one of South Tyrol’s most beautiful circular hiking trails, offering magnificent views from the Vinschgau Valley to the Merano region. After a pleasant hike of around 2 hours, you will

reach the Unterstell cable car, which will take you down to Naturns. From there, we will use the South Tyrol Guest Pass to return to the starting point by public transport.

Easy hike; walking time: approx. 2 hours; 300 metres ascent and descent; approx. 6,5 km; basic physical condition, sure-footedness and good footwear required, max. 15 participants
