Tour Start

Tour End

Töll/Tel, hydroelectric power station

The starting point of the hike is the hydroelectric power plant at the Tel barrage. From here, the route initially follows the cycle path along the Via Claudia Augusta, leading gently to the Tel Bridge. After crossing the bridge, the path continues to the left along Bahnhofstraße to the historic K.u.K. Museum Bad Egart.

At the museum, the route turns onto the idyllic Badlweg, descending towards Rabland. The path continues to the Saringer Bridge. From here, the route follows Saringstraße to Vinschgauerstraße (the main road), which is crossed at the pedestrian crossing.

The hike then continues along trail marking 7A, a section of the Mühlwaal irrigation channel path. The route leads along Pröfingstraße, passing historic farmhouses and rural landscapes, and continues along Gaudententurmstraße.

Turning right into Zehentstraße (towards the swimming pool), the route continues in the direction of Tel to a signposted junction at the Peter Mitterhofer Trail. Here, a meadow path branches off to the left and leads up to Vertigen.

From Vertigen, the signs guide the way back to the Tel barrage. The route finally descends once more to the Adige barrage, where the circular walk comes to an end.
