For about 10 bottles

15 oranges (untreated)
4 l water

70 g citric acid
Preparation
Wash the oranges well and peel them with a peeler. Briefly boil the water with the sugar and leave to cool.

Then strain the juice and bottle it. Store in a cool and dark place.

Did you know?
Mixed with sparkling water, this juice tastes like the "Kracherle" (aranciata - original sparkling orange drink from Italy), which you used to get as a child on the mountain pastures as a reward for setting up bowling pins.

TIP: You can make wonderful candied orange peel with the "used" orange peel. Simply sprinkle the drained orange peels with sugar, put them in a sealable container and use them after use (for panettone or "house friends").
