For this very rewarding tour, you use the Merano 2000 cable car for the ascent. From the mountain station, you reach the Meraner Hütte via an easy gravel path that is suitable for everyone. You can descend back to Schenna via the Hafling road. Note: there are several long tunnels and heavy traffic. Alternatively, you can return by cable car.
The tour starts in the centre of Schenna. You can reach the starting point via Merano. Follow the signs towards Schenna and drive to the village centre.
Paid parking spaces in the underground garage below the Raiffeisen bank or in the “Baumann” parking lot.
The bus lines in Schenna do not transport bicycles.
