The route takes you through the dreamlike landscapes of South Tyrol to Kaltern an der Weinstraße– the heart of South Tyrol’s wine region, where a breathtaking scenery of lakes and vineyards awaits you.
Along the way, you’ll ride almost exclusively on well-maintained asphalt and bike paths, ideal for relaxed cruising. The route mostly follows wonderfully and quiet cycle paths away from traffic – perfect for enjoying the sunshine and perhaps admiring the surrounding vineyards.
The tour starts in the centre of Schenna. You can reach the starting point via Merano. Follow the signs towards Schenna and drive to the village centre.
Paid parking spaces in the underground garage below the Raiffeisen bank or in the “Baumann” parking lot.
The bus lines in Schenna do not transport bicycles.
