Family Program: Fire, Embers, and the Scent of Chestnuts

ONLY IN GERMAN AND ITALIAN!

With the aroma of roasted chestnuts, we soak up the essence of autumn. We wander through the forest and collect firewood, which we then use to start a fire without matches. We learn how to handle the dangers of fire and how to use medicinal herbs for burns.
While we gather around the campfire to roast our chestnuts, we listen to adventurous stories about fire… and for those who aren’t fans of chestnuts, there are delicious chocolate bananas roasted in the embers.

Approach

Meeting point is in front of Gasthof Tiefenbrunn (Verdinserstrasse 34/a). Parking is available at the school, from where the meeting point can be reached on foot in about 10 minutes.
Getting there by public transport: Bus line 231 from Merano – get off at the “Tiefenbrunn” stop.

Hiking shoes, something to drink and eat, rain protection, and optionally a seat cushion.

he ticket can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before the event; after that, 50% of the ticket price will be charged. In the event of cancellation on the day of the event or no-show, no refund will be issued.
