Hike to Bachlerhof Farm

Over beautiful meadow slopes leads this family hike to the Bachlerhof farm. Traditional specialty of the house: The Schenner Krapfen, a typical pastry from Schenna on the menu.The route follows trail no. 16 (Wieser Steig) past Verdins Church and uphill to the top road and Hasenegg Inn. Continuing on this road, you reach Hoferhof Farm, where a dirt path through the fields leads to the driveway for Vallplatzhof Farm. Follow the signs pointing to Bachlerhof with its beautiful meadow. To return a different way, follow the path sign-posted as trail no. 16. You will pass Vallplatzhof and parallel to the farm’s driveway, a beautiful trail leads to the Taser Cable Car valley station.

From Merano in the direction of Schenna and on to Verdins.
