bacchus & pomina | Guided Wine Hike

You walk along the Mitterplattweg, following the wine and apple trail bacchus & pomina, accompanied by farmer Matthias, who shares his expertise. The path leads past the Wine Museum Pföstl to the Pföstl winery. The tour concludes with a tasting of two wines in the winery’s wine cellar.

Meeting point is the starting point of bacchus & pomina (at the entrance of Katnauweg).

Arrival by public transport: Bus line 231 (every 12 minutes) from Merano (stop about 100 m away).

Parking is available in the town center.

For your hike, make sure you take enough water with you – ideally in a reusable water bottle. In Schenna, you can easily avoid buying single-use plastic bottles: tap water is of excellent quality and safe to drink. Reusable water bottles are available at the Schenna Tourist Office and from selected accommodation providers.

Good to know: As part of the “Refill Südtirol – Alto Adige” initiative, there are numerous designated refill stations and drinking fountains in Schenna and throughout South Tyrol. We recommend checking before your hike where you can refill your bottle along the way.

The ticket can be cancelled free of charge up to 2 days before the hike, after which 50 percent of the ticket price will be charged. For cancellations on the day of the event and in case of no-shows, no refund will be given.
