Two times a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays, the Obereggen slope is bathed in light from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. to guide indefatigable winter sports enthusiasts on their way. Skiers can race down a 1.8-kilometre-long piste illuminated by 340 KW of power, turning night into day, then make their way back up again with the “Ochsenweide” 8-seater gondola lift.

Approach
With the public bus line:
- 181 from Bolzano and Ponte Nova,
- 184 from Pietralba, Monte S. Pietro, Nova Ponente, Nova Levante, Ega and Stenk,
bus stop: Obereggen; online bus timetables on the website of South Tyrol Mobility.
By car: Take highway´s exit “Bolzano Nord/Eggental”, turn right direction Bolzano/Bozen, after about 0,5 km on roundabout keep left and head towards Val d’Ega (SS 241). Keep driving up to Ponte Nova. At Ponte Nova’s crossroads, turn to the right and continue to Obereggen (about 30 min. from highway toll booth).
