Ice skating rink at the festival grounds
The Marling festival grounds turn into a winter oasis once again! From 29 November to 25 January, the ice rink invites you to enjoy skating. Whether you feel like trying elegant spins or simply gliding across the ice with family and friends, there’s something for everyone. The skate rental service ensures that no one is left without the right equipment.
Of course, refreshments are also provided: a cosy food and drink stand offers hot beverages and tasty snacks – perfect for warming up between skating sessions.
Opening hours – Public skating
Monday – Tuesday – Wednesday – Thursday: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm
Friday: 2:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturday – Sunday: 10:00 am – 6:00 pm

From Friday, 19 to Sunday, 21 December, the Boccia Club Marling will be treating you at the ice rink to delicious culinary specialties and exciting sporting highlights.

5:00 pm – Shepherds’ Fire: Communal Singing & Music
A magical Advent experience for young and old awaits you:
- with sheep
- communal singing with all participants
- little and big shepherds
- contemplative Christmas poems by Maria Sulzer (guitar & vocals)
- music by Heinz Gamper (Ziachorgl)
- a brass ensemble of the Marling Brass Band
The Marling Education Committee looks forward to welcoming many singing enthusiasts who will gather around the warming shepherds’ fire.

Three different music channels, black light and real disco vibes on the ice!

Culinary extra on all three days:
In addition to the usual hot and cold drinks and dishes, the popular "Boccia-Schnitzel" in a bun will also be available.
From 22 to 25 December, the Marling Music Band invites you to the atmospheric Marlinger Eiszauber.

From 26 to 28 December, the "Terzenbühne" Marling will treat you at the ice rink to hearty winter specialties – perfect for cozy winter days.

- Puster Valley tirtlan, filled with savory cabbage or spinach (also available to take away)
- Kniakiachl, served with Nutella or jam (also available to take away)
- Hot dogs
- Chili con carne

From Monday, 29 December, to Sunday, 4 January, the Sportverein Marling invites you to the Marlinger Eiszauber. Look forward to a varied programme featuring great music, a festive firework display, delicious food and sporty highlights.
