Picnic at the Water Lily Pond

Picnicking beneath the palms and the starry skies. On three balmy summer evenings, guests can enjoy a picnic basket of tasty treats by the water lily pond. With upbeat live music and breathtaking surroundings to accompany you, unforgettable picnicking fun in the greenery is a guarantee!

Just choose a date and the number of baskets (one basket for 2 people).
Admission (Summer Nights ticket from 6:00 PM: 10,00€) is to be paid in addition to the basket price. Cost per basket for 2 person 50,00 € + deposit.

Important: please bring your own blanket.

Bus numbers 1, 1B (Trauttmansdorff) and 4 (Maia Alta/Obermais) depart at 20-minute intervals from the Merano/Meran town centre as well as the central railway station.

Almost all of the paths running through the gardens are wheelchair and stroller friendly; all stairs and grades over 8% are marked on the overview map. In the Visitors’ Center, manual and electric-powered wheelchairs are available for visitors, free of charge.
