Located in an ideal panoramic position above the spa town of Meran/Merano, the village of Schenna/Scena is characterized by its scenic but also cultural beauty and diversity. Some of Schenna's most impressive sights include the 14th-century Schenna Castle

The oldest architectural monuments include the Romanesque St. Martin‘s Church, built around 1200, and the original round church of St. Georg with its well-preserved frescoes.
