Family Day in Spring

Together with our garden guides you can learn the secrets of the plant world at a variety of different workshops, even becoming a researcher yourself. This special springtime event at the Gardens of Trauttmansdorff Castle offers a wide array of options: see, hear, smell and comprehend.

Bus numbers 1, 1B (Trauttmansdorff) and 4 (Maia Alta/Obermais) depart at 20-minute intervals from the Merano/Meran town centre as well as the central railway station.

Almost all of the paths running through the gardens are wheelchair and stroller friendly; all stairs and grades over 8% are marked on the overview map. In the Visitors’ Center, manual and electric-powered wheelchairs are available for visitors, free of charge.
