In the mountains, the day will start with sunny conditions and excellent visibility. As the day progresses, clouds will move in from the northwest, bringing a chance of a few showers.

Strong north-westerly currents at altitude will bring moist air masses closer to the Alps.
On the border ridge mountains and the Ortles it will start snowing during the morning. In the afternoon, precipitation will also affect areas further south. A total of 20 to 30 cm of fresh snow is expected in the north, while in the south the snowfall will be less heavy.
