Südtirol Jazzfestival - #3b Ella Zirina Trio

The Latvian musician Ella Zirina was 17 when she decided to switch instruments, moving from piano to guitar. She studied at the Conservatory of Amsterdam with Reinier Baas, with whom she has already performed at the Südtirol Jazzfestival Alto Adige some years ago. Zirina’s rapid rise in the Dutch jazz scene has quickly established her as a prominent figure. With her trio, she combines virtuosic, melodic improvisations with a unique sonic universe.
