Bike Box Meran - Untermais Train Station

The boxes meet high security requirements and also offer weather protection for bicycles and accessories (helmets, bags, backpacks, etc.). It is recommended that bicycles are also locked in the box with a personal lock. The municipality explicitly points out that bicycles and objects stored in the boxes are not insured against theft.

How bike boxes work

Rent a bike box:
- Download the BKube app, register and charge a credit (once you have used it you will be charged).
For Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=bz.bkube.app
For iOs: https://apps.apple.com/it/app/bkube/id1599731514?l=en
- Select a free bike box (green LED), book it with the app and unlock it by scanning the QR code on the door.
- Open the door and park the bike.
- Close the door firmly; the lock locks automatically.
Tip: During the rental period, the box can be opened as many times as you like using the app.

Release the box:
- Unlock the lock with the app and open the door.
- Remove the bike, leaving the box clean.
- Close the door firmly; the lock locks automatically.
- End rental with the app and pay; the box is released again (LED changes from orange to green). As long as the rental is not successfully terminated via the app, the paid rental period continues. The boxes can also be booked in advance from the comfort of home or on the move, but also the booking time will be charged for.
In case of malfunctions or emergencies between 7 a.m. and 11 p.m. you can contact the service number +39 0473 868019. A technician will be on site within 30 minutes.
By renting a box, the user declares to have read and accepted the general terms and conditions that can be viewed in the application.
