Directions

Starting point: Wans at 1,439 m

Departure from the parking lot at Wanserhof – including the Wanser church, which was built in 1822 and is dedicated to St. John of Nepomuk – on the forest road to the Wanser Alm mountain hut. From there to the end of the valley, where one first keeps to the left and then through an arc to the right, and finally an ever steeper incline leads to the awaiting Wanser Joch ridge (2,256 m a.s.l.).
