It is a great honour and pleasure for us to have been Andreas Hofer's preferred inn. This inspires us to always give our very best for you and to run our hotel in South Tyrol with passion, dedication and genuine hospitality. In 2012, we, the Fontana and Schweigl families, renovated and reopened the Unterwirt. Preserving this historic house, cultivating the vineyards of the neighbouring Hianhof estate, and breathing new life into the inn, the hotel and its wine cellar are projects that are especially close to our hearts.
