The holiday village of Scena/Schenna above the spa town of Merano/Meran in the middle of South Tyrol is a real holiday paradise for families, because the holidays in Scena are leisurely and relaxing, but if desired, they can be varied and exciting.
Within close proximity to the village, the most beautiful mountain trails extend all around the summits of Ifinger and Hirzer. Families find not only leisurely panoramic walking trails and huts, but also the rail toboggan run AlpinBob on the alpine plateau of Merano 2000. All around Scena extends the Schenner Waalweg trail as well as hut-to-hut trekking tours to Gompm Alm mountain hut, the Mahd Alm mountain pasture, the Taser Alm mountain pasture as well as to Merano 2000. The Vorbichl Prissian adventure trail and the hike to the “Knottnkino” viewpoint in Verano/Vöran are also rewarding.
The area around Scena also provides numerous children’s playgrounds. In addition, nature – the largest playground of all – also awaits the little ones. When kindergarten teacher, nature guide and herb instructor Elisabeth invites to an afternoon of games, this means a joint exploration tour through the woods and meadows. There, the children build little works of art from roots, rocks and wood, listen to fairy tales and learn how to read animal tracks.
