Titlá – 35 Years of South Tyrolean Folk Music - concert
Summer concert in the garden of the house of comunity
"Titlá" ("feel free") was the response of an innkeeper 35 years ago when asked if playing music was allowed in his establishment. Since then, South Tyrol’s most successful folk band, Titlá, has been captivating audiences with its unique style of folk music. Drawing inspiration from Irish and Celtic melodies and sounds, the five musicians have forged their own path into traditional Tyrolean folk music. Fiddle and bagpipes, flute and tuba, as well as drums and guitar, all contribute to their unmistakable sound. Their well-crafted, self-composed songs make Titlá instantly recognizable and have brought them success and acclaim beyond the borders of South Tyrol. Their lyrics are deliberately sung in dialect, a way to rediscover and preserve their cultural heritage—both musically and linguistically.
The current concert program presents a diverse mix spanning 35 years of shared musical journey.
