Path of tranquillity – hike from the church to the monastery

Note: currently, the tour is only offered in German and Italian

Majestically perched on a rock, the pilgrimage church of Unser Frau in Schnals/ Madonna di Senales is the starting point for a roughly 2.5-hour hike along Via Monachorum via the ancient larch trees of Schnals, waterfalls, and mountain springs to the former Carthusian monastery of Allerengelberg in Karthaus/Certosa.

And there? Silence – and a journey into the past.



Period: May - October, Mondays

Duration: approx. 3.5 hours

Price: 10 € per person from 10 years (incl. hiking guide and guided tour)

Meeting point: 1.30 pm – Unser Frau, pilgrimage church

Individually by car or by the regional bus line no. 261 “Merano–Val Senales”.

Tickets that were booked in person, by phone, or via email must be cancelled no later than 12:00 p.m. on the same day.
