How does one love a father whom one fears – whilst at the same time hoping that he will remain in a safe place forever? In her deeply personal documentary, Jelena Ilić accompanies her father, who, after years in a forensic psychiatric hospital, is on the cusp of a new beginning. Amidst fear, tenderness and surprising moments, she recounts a unique father-daughter relationship and their attempt to get to know one another anew.
