To mark the 800th anniversary of the death of Saint Francis of Assisi, the Vokalensemble Amaté will perform a festive Mass at the Capuchin Church. Free entry.

Under the direction of Richard J. Sigmund, the programme will feature newly arranged classical works as well as new Mass settings composed by Sigmund. A special musical highlight will be the world premiere in Merano of a six-part “Our Father”.

The Argentine soprano Loana Ayuso will appear as soloist, accompanied by piano, flute and a string ensemble.
