Movie in German language: Frau Winkler verlässt das Haus

Mrs Winkler falls and requires round-the-clock care. Her daughter is overwhelmed by the task of looking after her and hires a care robot. Mrs Winkler feels humiliated and vehemently resists the robotic care. But then an unexpected friendship develops between the 80-year-old and the extremely ‘well-read’ robot, whom she calls Pavlovich and who, to her delight, can recite Chekhov beautifully. Pavlovich promises to stand by her, but can an artificial intelligence make a promise to a human being that it can actually keep?
