Experience Merano and its surroundings consciously

Merano and its surroundings invite you to discover nature, culture, and enjoyment in harmony with people and the environment – mindfully, slowly, and inspiring in every season.

Here, Alpine width meet Mediterranean flair: Winter sports in the Passeier valley, Ultental valley and Merano 2000 meet sunny promenades around the spa town. From May, peak tours in Hafling, Vöran, Partschins, and along the historic irrigation ditches paths (Waalwege). Thermal baths and regional cuisine provide relaxation. In spring, the Blossom Courtyard Festival in Lana and the Asparagus Weeks in Nals attract, in autumn, Törggele evenings and wine tastings, as well as themed paths such as the Apple Path and the Chestnut Experience Path. Several locations are certified as sustainable according to the criteria of the Global Sustainable Tourism Council (GSTC).

And since sustainability also comes through the stomach: More and more vegan delicacies and conscious eating shape the culinary landscape around Merano.
