Pleasant alpine walk to Hirzerhütte Cabin

This easy family hike leads on a flat and wide path to the Hirzerhütte Cabin. Beautifully located, the cabin is surrounded by alpine meadows and feature an incredible view over the Texel Range. As well as cows, alpacas also spend their summer here at the Hirzerhütte.From Klammeben (Hirzer Cable Car mountain station) walk about 20 minutes on trail no. 40 to the Hirzerhütte. The return journey is via the same route back to the Hirzer Cable Car mountain station.

From Merano in the direction of Schenna and on to Verdins to the valley station of the cable car Verdins-Tall.
From Merano in the direction of Passeiertal Valley and on to Saltaus to the valley station oft the cable car Hirzer.
