South Tyrolean apples are healthy, delicious and packed with vitamins. Here in Schenna, this popular fruit has everything it needs to truly thrive: sun, elevation and the Alpine-Mediterranean climate. The meeting point is the outdoor swimming pool in Schenna (Strada Vecchia 12), parking spaces are located opposite.
Arrival by public transport: Bus line 231 (every 10 minutes) from Merano - Lido stop (approx. 30 m away).

For your hike, make sure you take enough water with you – ideally in a reusable water bottle. In Schenna, you can easily avoid buying single-use plastic bottles: tap water is of excellent quality and safe to drink. Reusable water bottles are available at the Schenna Tourist Office and from selected accommodation providers.

Good to know: As part of the “Refill Südtirol – Alto Adige” initiative, there are numerous designated refill stations and drinking fountains in Schenna and throughout South Tyrol. We recommend checking before your hike where you can refill your bottle along the way.

The ticket can be cancelled free of charge until 3 pm the day before the hike.
