THE MUSICIAN: MANFRED ‘MANNI’ KLOTZ
His mother, a cellist and choir singer, introduced him to music. The same is probably true of his juggling with language, which has since become his profession. He acquired his theoretical grounding in music at the Franziskanergymnasium in Bolzano. He hated it at the time, but today he says, ‘Thank you very much!’
