RE/LATE - Photographic exhibition by Nazzareno Berton and Sergio Carlesso

Opening on 13 March from 7pm to 9pm. Free entry.

After “Vaia,” the event that disrupted the places where we most strongly felt our sense of “belonging” to Nature, we became even more aware of its power and of the respect we owe it. But is Nature a Mother or a Stepmother?
We seek to understand; to share the “silently present stories” that captivate us.
Without preconceptions or preconceived beliefs. “RE/LATE.”

Nazzareno Berton and Sergio Carlesso are united by their passion for photography and by their friendship, as well as by more than 25 years of involvement with the Associazione Culturale Ezzelino Fotoclub.
Since 2009, alongside their individual artistic research, they have developed joint projects focused on reinterpreting landscape and territory. They work with deliberate slowness and through long-term engagement with places, in order to perceive their distinctive qualities.
The interventions within the landscape, present in all the images, serve as a way to compel themselves to understand—or rather, to “feel”—as a means of bearing witness to their perception, or to the very essence of a place.
The event is organised by 00A Centre for Contemporary Photography, in collaboration with Fotoclub Immagine Merano.
