Film in Italian: Il caftano blu

Halim is a talented tailor with a shop in the medina of Salé, where he lives with his wife Mina, who also helps him in the shop. Their relationship is close and affectionate, though it must endure both the illness afflicting Mina and Halim’s hidden homosexuality. The arrival of Youssef, a young apprentice very attentive to studying Halim’s techniques, brings a breath of fresh air to the couple’s established routine, at a time marked by the sewing of a beautiful blue caftan for a client with little patience.
