Church concert ORGELplus

On Wednesday, 6 May 2026, students from the Merano/Passeier Music School will present a church concert at the St. Nikolaus Cathedral in Merano. This ORGELplus concert promises to be a special sensory experience, with the mystical, sacred interior of the church illuminated in colours that complement the character of the works. The programme will feature impressive works for solo organ performed by selected students from the organ class. In addition, works for string orchestra, clarinet ensemble, guitar ensemble, choir and a recorder choir comprising around 45 students will be performed. Works by
Bach, Handel, L. Mozart, Sweelinck, J. Rutter and Charles-Marie Widor will be performed.

At Merano train station take either the bus no. 1 or bus no. 4 and get off at the Elisabeth Park stop at via Cavour. From there you reach the church in 10 minutes by foot.
