Chorango Voyage – Davide Rocco Fiorenza (accordion) with Loreno Ferrarese and Ge

The Theater im Hof in Bolzano presents Chorango Voyage, a concert by South Tyrolean accordionist and composer Davide Rocco Fiorenza. The programme moves between contemporary tango, European jazz and modern instrumental music, featuring works by Richard Galliano, Astor Piazzolla and other composers who have shaped the development of the accordion over recent decades.

Fiorenza has performed extensively in Italy and abroad, deepening his training with leading figures of the international scene, including Richard Galliano and Simone Zanchini. His musical practice is marked by a strong focus on improvisation, sonic storytelling and the dialogue between tradition and contemporary expression.

He is joined by Loreno Ferrarese on guitar and Georg Lang on percussion and cajón — musicians who share his commitment to mutual listening and the creation of ever-evolving soundscapes. The concert weaves together lyrical moments, rhythmic energy and improvisational freedom into a personal musical journey.
