When the apple orchards of the Lana Region turn into a sea of white and pink blossoms, spring has truly arrived. This is the moment when the event series “Lana in Bloom” invites visitors to experience the season with all their senses.
From 1 to 30 April 2026, Lana and the surrounding villages celebrate the awakening of nature with a diverse programme of events dedicated to blossoms, wild herbs and regional flavours.
Guided wild herb walks, creative workshops and culinary experiences offer many opportunities to discover the landscape in a new way. The focus is on the small but special moments of spring – the scent of blossoms in the air, fresh herbs along the paths and encounters with the people who shape life in the region.
One of the highlights is the Apple Blossom Golf Tournament on Saturday, 11 April. Surrounded by blooming orchards, golfers tee off while enjoying a seasonal spring menu served right on the green.
Food lovers should also mark Saturday, 18 April, when the village centre of Lana hosts the “Farmers’ Gourmet Mile”. More than 50 South Tyrolean farmers present regional products and invite visitors to taste authentic flavours from the countryside.
The event series concludes on Sunday, 26 April with the traditional “Blossom Farm Festival” (Blütenhöfefest). Historic farms and manor houses open their gates, offering insights into rural life and traditional dishes from the local farm kitchens.
“Lana in Bloom” brings together nature, culinary delights and genuine encounters – celebrating spring in the Lana Region in a particularly authentic way
