Since 1996, MeranOjazz has transformed Merano into an international hub for improvised music.

Immanuel’s communicative talent Wilkins has garnered widespread acclaim across generations. In 2023, the young musician took first place in no fewer than three categories of the Down Beat poll: alto saxophone, composer and emerging group.
With his well-rehearsed quartet, Wilkins has now released a live album
recorded at the famous Village Vanguard, a mecca of modern and contemporary jazz. The magazine Musica Jazz featured him on its
cover story in May.
