Authors in Merano in German language - Meeting with Philipp Burger

Philipp Burger is a singer, songwriter and author from South Tyrol. He rose to fame as the frontman of the German rock band Frei.Wild, with whom he reached a wide audience across the German-speaking world. In his autobiography *Freiheit mit Narben. Mein Weg von Rechts nach Überall* (Freedom with Scars: My Journey from the Right to Everywhere), he looks back on his personal development and explores his origins, missteps, ruptures and new beginnings. The book also addresses responsibility, change and reflecting on one’s own life journey. The evening combines conversation and music: together with his guitarist Mattia Mariotti, Philipp Burger will perform selected songs live on stage.
