On a short guided walk along the Vorbichl Adventure Trail with ornithologist Erich Gasser, a new perspective on the local wildlife emerges. Erich Gasser is a founding member of the Working Group for Ornithology and Bird Protection in South Tyrol (AVK Südtirol). Founded in 1974, AVK Südtirol is dedicated to the protection of birds and bats, as well as their habitats. The organization also focuses on raising public awareness, conducting research and studies on the behavior and distribution of birds and bats.
