FrühlingsSchmaus & Pflanzentausch - Spring Feast & Plant Swap

On May 9, the Town Hall Square in Tisens will become a meeting place for food lovers and hobby gardeners. From 8:30 a.m., visitors can enjoy a breakfast featuring almost exclusively 0-km products, including honey, bread, cold cuts, cheese, and much more. This means that everything offered has been produced within the municipality of Tisens and/or by its residents.

Those who prefer just a small bite can stop by the coffee and cake stand run by the altar servers, the farmers’ women’s stand serving traditional Krapfen, or enjoy white sausage and wine from the Großkemat winery.

At the same time, a plant exchange market will take place, where plants can be brought, exchanged, or taken home.
A market with local products will also offer the opportunity to purchase directly from the producers.
Musical entertainment will be provided.
The event will take place in all weather conditions.

The committee consists of seven representatives from various local associations and institutions and is dedicated to promoting and supporting initiatives within the village.
- South Tyrolean Farmers’ Women Organization – Local Group Tisens
Founded in 1998, it currently has more than 200 members. The organization is committed to strengthening the role of farmers’ women in agriculture, society, and politics, while promoting education, traditions, and sustainable development in rural areas.
